From a young age, I was drawn to the medical field, particularly psychiatry, after witnessing the impact of mental health challenges on my loved ones and the limited resources available at the time. This experience solidified my commitment to pursuing a career in nursing, ultimately leading me to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

My nursing career has primarily focused on inpatient care within behavioral health units. I take pride in building rapport with patients and witnessing their progress with appropriate care and treatment. As your provider, I approach our interactions with compassion, active listening, and openness.

My treatment approach is patient-centered, humanistic, and holistic, grounded in the latest evidence-based guidelines. I tailor treatment plans to your individual needs, always considering your efforts to balance responsibilities at work, home, and school alongside treatment. We will develop a personalized holistic treatment plan that addresses underlying contributing factors, symptom reduction, therapeutic interventions, and, if warranted, psychiatric medications.  

I specialize in the evaluation and management of major psychiatric disorders, including ADHD/ADD, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, insomnia, PTSD, and other mental health conditions.

In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, participating in church activities, listening to uplifting music, going to the beach, reading, doing arts and crafts, exercising, and enjoying movies with friends.
