What is it like working for Optimal Moments?

  • Flexible Schedule: Clinicians decide the days and times that work best for their schedule.

  • Hybrid Setting: Licensed clinicians are required to be in the office 1-2 days a week and can work remotely 1-2 days.

  • Client Hours: There is no required number of clinical hours a week. Max number of clients a week 25.

  • Client Concerns: We will work with you to honor your specialties within your caseload.

  • Services Provided: Scheduling, billing, insurance credentialing, and marketing services are provided, as well as an EMR system.

  • Supervision: Weekly supervision provided for postgraduate clinicians with multiple opportunities for additional training.

Licensed Psychologist:

The ideal candidate will be a generalist, able to or willing to treat a variety of client concerns. Optimal Moments is willing to accommodate any specializations or certifications the candidate may hold for working with specific clientele. This is a great position for a clinician who would like to work in private practice with a flexible schedule as a second job or to transition into working at Optimal Moments part-time or full-time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an APA accredited college or university with a minimum of a Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology

  • Candidates must carry current and valid Individual Professional Liability Insurance Coverage.

  • Must possess a license to practice in the State of Florida

  • Must be willing to be credentialed with insurance companies.

  • Provides mental health and/or substance use counseling services according to APA and ACA ethical standards and in accordance to policies and procedures.

  • Reviews and responds to phone calls, emails and other correspondence in a timely and professional manner (within 24-hours or next available business day)

  • Maintains ongoing chart audits to ensure compliance and quality assurance of services provide

  • Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing community resources as supportive services

  • Serves as a liaison for the client, family, referral source and other social service agencies

  • Ability to report to work as scheduled, in a timely fashion and with an attitude oriented toward service

  • Commitment to working with clients from diverse cultural, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds

  • Must successfully complete all criminal background checks annually

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience administering psychological assessments

  • Willingness to provide clinician supervision for practicum students and/or postgraduate interns

  • Experience working with athletes and/or military or first responders

  • Speak additional languages

Postdoctoral Fellow (Start Date Dec 1st 2025):
