Since the age of 10, it has been my aspiration to work in the mental health field. At a young age I started playing sports, specifically softball, and was raised to push through adversity and to focus on becoming a better version of myself. This mentality translated to my personal and professional life as I have continued to try to strive through the obstacles. Throughout my life, I have wanted others to be able to see their true nature of excellence and help them get through their personal challenges.

As a clinician, I have worked with children and adolescents work through trauma and learn different coping strategies to manage their behaviors and choices. Additionally, I provided family and group counseling addressing a variety of mental health concerns. I weave cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing in sessions with clients based on their individual needs. I earned a certification in Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1.

Since I was able to fulfill my dream of playing softball at the University of South Florida, I have devoted my free time to coaching travel youth softball and assisting players with accomplishing their goals of playing collegiate sports. I also enjoy journaling, going to church, spending time with my dog, and trying new foods.

Warm regards,
Jasmine
